Joe Biden Predicts Victory in November

At a fundraiser for Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) Joe Biden declared: “I guarantee you we’re going to have a majority in the House and a majority in the Senate. I absolutely believe that.”

I understand cheerleading and having to put up a brave front in the face of defeat but when you "guarantee" something and it doesn't pan out you end up belittling yourself.

Just Being a Smart Ass

After Biden gets his custard, he asks the store manager how much he owes him.
“Lower our taxes and we’ll call it even,” the manager replied.

I don't know about the exchange (did he respond to the store manager at the time) I won't read Biden's mind; but it is one more misstep by Biden.

I wonder if Biden would be called "the smartest man in the room" if he was a Republican.
